Finance Business Partner

Job description

​ An exciting opportunity has become available for a Finance Business Partner to join our innovative client based in Doncaster. Our client, a leading manufacturer, have seen continuous success through acquisition and are looking to make a new addition to their team following an internal restructure. With clear sustainability targets in place for 2025 – our client has a strong strategic vision complimenting their extensive ongoing Research and Development.

The role of Finance Business Partner will report directly into the Head of FP&A and support the wider finance function. As Finance Business Partner you will act as a critical interface between the business and the finance function, ensuring that financial objectives align with broader business goals and constraints whilst adding value through the provision of business insights.

Duties and responsibilities to include:

  • Provide business insights through the analysis of materials and operational variances

  • Promote strong business decisions that add long-term value to drive major business improvements

  • Provide informative and accurate forecasts and financial models

  • Liaise closely with budget holders and wider management team to build a cohesive process

  • Full responsibility for Capex spend forecasting and analysis

  • Provide insight to the business through trend and variance analysis

  • Implementation of project delivery and benefits tracking

  • Review of forecasting performance and KPI reporting process

  • Lead Budgeting and Forecasting processes

  • Internal and external stakeholder management

Person Specification:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified

  • Previous Manufacturing experience (desirable)

  • Proficiency in financial modelling and analysis (desirable)
