This is a newly created role to support an exciting growth phase fueled by recent acquisitions. The role is well suited for a commercially focused and motivated Finance Business Partner. As a Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with the CFO and Senior Leadership Team, leveraging your commercial expertise to enhance and drive business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth financial analysis to support business performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support the creation and refinement of budgets and forecasts.

  • Partner with operational teams to provide detailed financial insights to influence strategic decision making and drive performance.

  • Offer guidance on cost management, pricing strategies, and investment planning.

  • Build and develop strong relationships across the organisation to promote financial accountability and awareness at all levels.

  • Collaborate with production and procurement teams to analyse costs and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.

  • Evaluate and optimise product costings to ensure profitability across projects and product lines.

  • Conduct margin analysis to pinpoint underperforming areas and recommend corrective actions.

  • Develop financial models and analyses to support new business opportunities, capital investments, and strategic initiatives.

  • Assist the Finance Director in preparing board-level reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.

  • Contribute to the enhancement of financial systems and processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall performance.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)

  • Demonstrates strong commercial awareness, capable of interpreting financial data and effectively communicating insights to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Highly proficient in financial systems with advanced expertise in Excel.

  • Valuable experience in cost accounting, project accounting, or margin analysis.

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to addressing challenges.

  • Collaborative team player who fosters trust and influences effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Resilient, adaptable, and thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, balanced with a strategic focus on broader objectives.
