Purchase Ledger Supervisor

Job description

​Our client is one of the leading businesses in Bradford and are looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join a small finance team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the purchase ledger function and supervising 3 junior ledger staff. You will also be working with wider stakeholders to provide them with analysis on costs as well as assisting with any ad hoc reporting queries.

As a Purchase Ledger Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing day to day operations of purchase ledger function ensuring accuracy and efficiency

  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers addressing queries and resolving issues

  • Reconciliation of invoices, managing approval levels

  • Company credit card administration

  • Manage and mentor a team of three including one to ones

  • Strong excel skills would be a distinct advantage
