Purchase Ledger Clerk

Job description

This well-established, well-run business in Doncaster is looking to add to their Accounts Payable team to support growth by recruiting a new Purchase Ledger Clerk and a Senior Purchase Ledger Clerk, both on a permanent contract.

They operate a hybrid working model, with 2 x days per week working in the office and 3 x days per week working remotely. Salary will depend upon experience between £25k-£30k plus there will be a annual bonus up to 10%. Additionally, there is a 6% pension contribution and an excellent discount scheme.

Working in a large team of Accounts Payable specialists you will be matching, coding an processing a high volume of supplier invoices daily. You will reconcile supplier statements, effectively resolve relevant supplier queries, then attend authorisation for payment. Finally you will assist in producing a payment run, ensuring suppliers are paid within terms and SLA’s.
