Key responsibilities as Finance Manager will include;

  • Report to an experienced Finance Director and Financial Controller

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a small finance team

  • Oversee the preparation of month-end and year-end accounts, including analysis and commentary

  • Ensure robust accounting controls are maintained and enhanced where necessary

  • Implement and review financial processes to improve efficiency and compliance

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance appraisals within the team

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business

  • Liaise closely with external auditors

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA)

  • Background in financial accounting, ideally within the Financial Services sector

  • Previous experience in a Finance Manager role would be a strong advantage

  • Solid understanding of HMRC and FCA regulatory requirements

  • Proven leadership and team management skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong ability to train, motivate, and develop team members

  • A natural leader who leads by example

  • Commitment to fostering a positive team culture and maintaining high standards of integrity
