Accounts Assistant

 A fantastic opportunity has become available for an Accounts Assistant to work for a well-established manufacturing business based in the Rotherham area!

Sharp Consultancy are working alongside an ever-growing manufacturing company of which are looking for an Accounts Assistant to support their small and welcoming finance function. This role involves Purchase and Sales Ledger processing as well as any other ad-hoc duties across the finance department. This position is a 7-month fixed term contract, utilising your skills and knowledge to benefit a growing business!

 

The role includes:

  • Maintaining the Sales and Purchase Ledger functions

  • Inputting invoices onto the system

  • Reconciling supplier statements

  • Processing payments

  • Managing live accounts

  • Preparing sales invoices

  • Setting up new customers and conducting credit checks

Skills and experience:

  • Experience working within a similar role

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of the business

  • Experience using SAP (beneficial not essential)
