Accounts Assistant

Job description

​A niche manufacturing business based in the industrial heart of Wakefield are currently looking to secure the services of a talented Accounts Assistant to cover a period of maternity leave.

Duties will include:

  • Processing large volume of purchasing invoices.

  • Raising Sales invoices through Manufacturing and Sage system.

  • Solving both purchase and sales ledger’s queries.

  • Supporting the Finance Manager in the preparation and maintenance of financial report during month end.

  • Preparation of monthly payroll and submitting document to Payroll Bureau.

  • Accruals for stock and other expenses and prepayments.

To be successful in this role the following will be a distinct advantage:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong IT skills, including experience with sage and CRM systems.
