Senior FP&A Analyst

​We are seeking a qualified Senior FP&A Analyst to join a progressive and dynamic International Financial Services organisation based in central Leeds. As the company experiences continued growth, we are looking for a passionate and strategic FP&A/Finance Business Partner to strengthen our expanding finance team and drive financial performance across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) functions, ensuring they align with the company’s overall business objectives.

  • Provide financial insights, analysis, and commercial recommendations to improve business performance, acting as a strategic advisor to business unit leaders.

  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across departments by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the UK and Europe.

  • Deliver actionable insights to support strategic planning and operational efficiency through in-depth financial data analysis.

  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.

  • Identify risks and opportunities, monitor financial performance against targets, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Support the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Manage and supervise a Management Accountant, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting and account production.

  • Optimize financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyse large datasets and provide relevant recommendations.

  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting.

  • Proficient in ERP systems.

  • Proven experience in business partnering with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.

  • Experience in Financial Services is preferred but not essential.

Package Includes:

  • Salary £60k to £65k
