Project Costing Officer

Job description

​I am currently working with an exciting opportunity in York who are looking for a Project Costing Officer to join the team on a permanent basis.

As the Project Costing Officer, you will ideally come from a background in similar role that has seen positive results. You will be a vital team member between finance, operations and business development with a strong focus on finance and project reporting.

Project costing officer responsibilities:

  • Finance reporting.

  • Ad-hoc finance administration.

  • Support with the preparation journals.

  • Reviewing and calculate costings.

  • Support with bids.

  • Work with senior mangers and stakeholders.

  • Ensure all invoice deadlines are met.

What could set you apart?

  • Previous experience in this role or similar.

  • QAAT/AAT certifications.

  • Experience in the public sector.

As the project costing officer, you will be joining a well-functioning team. The ideal candidate will have a fine eye for detail and great communication skills.
