Part Time Invoicing Officer (Sales Ledger Clerk)

Our client, a well-established group of companies in Barnsley, are currently seeking a Part-Time Invoicing Officer to assist with the Sales Ledger functions within their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work 16 hours per week across any two days of your choice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Accurately processing a high volume of invoices in a timely manner.

  • Credit Control: Monitoring outstanding invoices and chasing payments to ensure timely receipt of funds.

  • Sales Ledger Maintenance: Updating and maintaining the sales ledger, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.

  • Customer Queries: Handling any queries related to invoicing and payment issues with professionalism and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have experience dealing with sales ledger invoices and in credit control and have keen attention to detail. The ability to manage a high volume of transactions and work to deadlines is also key.
