Sharp Consultancy is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a Group Reporting Accountant at a leading provider of sustainable solutions, based in Doncaster. Our client is a prominent player in the building and construction industry, with operations across multiple sites in the UK and Europe.

As a Group Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role within the Group Finance Function, reporting directly to the Head of Group Reporting. The role has been designed to improve business performance and efficiency by providing accurate and timely financial reports to offer strong business recommendations to support further growth.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the production of Group consolidated monthly management accounts and finance packs.

  • Overseeing comprehensive analysis and variance reporting to inform strategic decisions.

  • Managing and optimising payroll costs and share-based payments across the Group.

  • Collaborating with tax teams, advisers, and auditors to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

  • Driving the preparation of Group Annual Reports, trading statements, and investor presentations.

  • Leading the preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts and ensuring audit sign-off.

  • Enhancing and automating financial processes and controls to improve efficiency.

  • Developing and supporting the creation of dashboard analytics for advanced reporting.

  • Leading and managing ad-hoc projects within the Reporting.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified Accountant – ACA / ACCA / CIMA.

  • Previous experience of working within an international organisation – desirable.
