The role is initially a temporary posting with the view to lead to permanent work due to the rapid growth of the business. As a Graduate Accounts Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the finance team, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills in a supportive and engaging environment. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a keen interest in accounting and finance, who is looking to build a solid foundation for their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.

  • Support the accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and reconciliation.

  • Perform bank reconciliations and statement reconciliations

  • Handle day-to-day administrative tasks and provide general support to the finance team.

  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve any financial discrepancies.

  • Progression to aid in the preparation of management accounts and financial statements.

Requirements:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn with a positive attitude.
