The role will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and timely production of financial statements, enhancing financial reporting, advising on treasury and tax compliance. The role would suit a newly Qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA Qualified technically astute Financial Accountant looking for a career defining role within one of the best employers in West Yorkshire.

  • Oversee statutory accounting and reporting.

  • Preparation of annual audited financial statements for the organisation.

  • Analysing existing and proposed financial legislation affecting regulatory reporting.

  • Provide technical guidance on financial reporting matters.

  • Oversee daily cash management.

  • Exploring new investment opportunities.

  • Key contact for HM Revenue and Customs and tax advisors.

  • Streamlining internal processes, systems and controls.

  • Lead the internal and external audit process.

Ideally will be able to demonstrate the below experience;

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.

  • Meticulous approach to financial reporting and compliance.

  • Confident communicator with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficient in IT, and advanced Excel skills.

  • Knowledge of various ERP systems.
