Finance Business Partner

Job description

​Reporting to the Finance Director, the Finance Business Partner (FBP) will play a key role in managing the financial performance of a portfolio of operations. Working closely with Divisional Directors and their teams, the FBP will provide strategic financial support to drive growth, improve performance, and ensure alignment with governance standards and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operational teams, transactional finance, and Group functions to develop a strong understanding of the business and its key commercial drivers.

  • Prepare and present regular financial reports, including performance updates and key metrics.

  • Highlight opportunities for improving financial and operational performance.

  • Support strategic planning and forecasting through commercial modelling and the development of robust business cases.

  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function.

  • Lead or contribute to projects focused on process improvement and operational excellence within Finance.

  • Continuously refine and enhance the reporting suite to improve usability and insight for stakeholders.

  • Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Working towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent).

  • Experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a commercially focused finance role.

  • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools.
