Accounts Assistant

Job description

My client is a well known business based in York who are looking for support on a 12 month fixed term basis for a candidate to join them as a Finance Assistant to support in the central finance team.

Duties will include:

* Prepare multi practice journals to allocate costs on consolidated centrally billed invoices
* Reconciliation of trade creditors
* Raise sales invoices for rebates and other ad hoc income streams
* Bank reconciliations for holding company and funding bank accounts
* Support the Finance team with reoccurring and ad hoc analysis and requests
* Assist accountants within the Finance team as required
* To support the business towards the achievement of the strategy, goals and objectives


This role will suit a candidate with good attention to detail. The ability to work on your own initiative is something that or client is particularly keen for the successful candidate to demonstrate.

The role will be based in the clients York office. This client offers hybrid working and has an incredible culture and working environment.
