Sharp Consultancy is thrilled to be partnering with a reputable client based in Sheffield, looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their finance team on a Full time & Permanent basis.

About the Role:

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the day to day duties of the finance function. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accounts Receivable: Manage invoicing, customer payments, and credit control to ensure timely collections.

  • Accounts Payable: Process supplier invoices and assist with payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Bank Reconciliations: Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are recorded accurately and discrepancies are resolved promptly.

  • General Adhoc duties.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable.

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and excellent communication skills.

£24,000 - £28,000

Full time, 37.5 hours
