Accounts Assistant

Job description

​Sharp Consultancy are excited to be working with a well-established business based in Chesterfield that are offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their finance team as an Accounts Assistant on a full time and permanent basis. This entry-level role is perfect for an AAT studier looking to kickstart their career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices, receipts, and payments.

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Assisting with Sales Ledger, including raising invoices.

  • Chasing payments.

  • Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end processes.

  • Handling queries from suppliers and customers.

Requirements:

  • Currently studying towards AAT qualification (Or have an interest in starting studies).

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Good communication skills and a team player attitude.
