Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk part time

​Sharp Consultancy is a leading recruitment firm specialising in finance and accountancy roles.

We are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to work on a short term basis for our client based close to Sheffield City Centre. There is a possibility that for the right candidate this role could go permanent on a part time or full time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the AP team.

  • Input purchase invoices into Sage 50.

  • Produce reports on Excel for the Finance Manager.

  • Handle any AP queries.

  • Support the wider team with ad hoc admin duties.

Requirements:

  • 2 years working in a similar role.

  • Be able to commute to the office each day (based near Sheffield Centre, 5 minutes on a bus).

  • Great attention to detail.

  • Be comfortable using Excel.

  • Proficiency in using Sage 50 is a must.
