Senior Management Accountant

​Sharp Consultancy are representing a great business who are an in an exciting growth period that are looking for a talented, ambitious finance professional into their team.

This is a crucial growth position that reports directly to the Financial Controller and supervises an Assistant Management Accountant. The main objective of this role is to internalize the accounting for a portfolio of entities, ensuring effective day-to-day management. Additionally, the role will offer vital commercial support to stakeholders, enhancing financial efficiency and driving strategic growth across the group.

You will be responsible for:

• Produce monthly management accounts.

• Reconcile monthly balance sheets.

• Prepare VAT returns.

• Assist in preparing cash flow forecasts.

• Support the annual audit process.

• Develop a deep understanding of business requirements by building strong relationships with colleagues and striving to meet these needs.

• Work closely with the Financial Controller to identify and enhance systems and processes, improving overall team and business efficiency.

• Assist in producing cash flow and P&L forecasts.

• Collaborate with commercial colleagues to ensure they have accurate and up-to-date information.

• Participate in projects as needed, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on relevant changes and developments.

• Commit to best practices, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
