Job description

 I’m excited to share that we at Sharp Consultancy have again partnered with is excited to partner with a well-established client of ours based in Rotherham, who are currently looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional who is looking for a new challenge, and to contribute to the success of a fantastic business.

The appointed candidate will be responsible for processing a high volume of Purchase Ledger invoices, including payment runs. Therefore, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will have at least two years’ experience working in an Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger role or similar, and experience as part of a transactional finance team. Experience working with Sage is also desirable, though not essential.
