Payroll Officer

Job description

​We’re excited to be working once again with an outstanding Doncaster based business. With fantastic success up and down the UK, they are a highly known retail business, looking to onboard a Payroll Officer on a fixed term basis.

Due to an increase in workload, they are looking for a Payroll Officer on a 9-month FTC. You will be working alongside a welcoming team and reporting directly into the Payroll Manager. This does have the potential to become a permanent role, so apply now if this role sounds perfect for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately managing wages, including bonuses and deductions.

  • Administrating pension schemes.

  • Dealing with maternity, paternity and sick payments.

  • Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies.

  • Reviewing processes, ensuring all activity is performed efficiently.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Expereince working within a similar role.

  • Able to prioritise tasks and have the ability to organise workload.

  • Ability to communicate with different individuals, internal and external to the business.
