Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working alongside a well-known Yorkshire based firm as they look to recruit an OMB Tax Semi Senior to join their team in Sheffield.

 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone currently working in a mixed /personal tax role to join an award-winning tax department working on a highly unique portfolio of corporate and personal clients.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting with a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring full compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.

  • Working closely with the Tax Manager in overseeing the tax team and driving departmental objectives.

  • Prepare and review tax returns, along with related documentation.

  • Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to clients.

  • Handle correspondence with HMRC and other relevant tax authorities.

  • Assist in mentoring and developing junior team members.

 

What you’ll need:

  • A background in Tax, Accounting, or a related discipline.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the Professional Services sector.

  • A solid understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
