Accounts Assistant

Job description

I'm currently recruiting for a growing SME based in the South of Sheffield that are looking to grow their current finance team. Ideally you will be available to start at short notice to start on a temporary contract with the view of going perm over the course of 3 months.

You will be reporting to the Finance Manager and working closely with the Credit Controller. The role itself is varied. It will see you maintaining the accounts payable function of the business as well as assisting the Finance Manager in ad hoc duties.

The business wants to provide staff opportunities to grow as they expand their customer base and you take on more duties and variation in the role.

Key Skills
* At least 1 year experience working in an accounts department
* Ideally be or wanting to study AAT
* Have a good understanding of how an accounts function runs in a SME
* Experience of using accounting software and excel
* Keen eye for detail and be able to prioritise work
