Accounts Assistant

Job description

​A specialised manufacturing company located in the heart of Wakefield is currently seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to cover a maternity leave period.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling a high volume of purchase invoices

  • Issuing sales invoices using the Manufacturing and Sage systems

  • Resolving queries related to both purchase and sales ledgers

  • Preparing monthly payroll

  • Managing accruals for stock, other expenses, and prepayments

To excel in this role, the following skills are highly beneficial:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Ideally good skills using Microsoft Excel
