Accounts Assistant

Job description

Sharp Consultancy are working with a reputable and established company based in Wakefield to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant to support the finance function of what is an exciting Manufacturing business.

Duties will include:
* Dealing with all aspects of purchase ledger, including coding, checking, posting, and paying of supplier invoices by BACS
* Processing, coding and inputting daily receipts, from bank statements and cheques
* Dealing with phone calls from suppliers
* Assisting with the production of monthly VAT reports
Ideally you will have previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Assistant. You will have good attention to detail and strong excel skills with excellent organisational skills.
