Accounts Assistant

Job description

Working as part of a small finance team based on the outskirts of Leeds you will take responsibility all elements of the transactional finance function along with other areas of finance as and when needed.

The main duties of the role are to include:

  • Assist and support Finance Manager.

  • Ownership of all account’s emails.

  • Entering & reconciling purchase ledger.

  • Dealing will all internal and external queries.

  • Data entry.

  • General office administration.

  • Holiday cover – this will mainly consist of answering queries and daily processing of customer receipts

The ideal individual with have the following skills and experience:

  • Prior experience in Accounts Assistant position

  • Experience using conventional accounting package is essential

  • Experience using Sage 50 is advantage but not essential

  • Good Excel knowledge

  • Have a flexible approach to work tasks and be willing to help in other areas of finance as needed.
