Part-Time Finance Assistant

Sharp Consultancy is delighted to working with a growing organisation in Sheffield who are looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join their small and friendly team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to balance work and personal life, with a flexible 3-day-a-week role that offers the chance to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Control: Manage the collection of outstanding debts, ensuring payments are received in a timely manner.

Sales Ledger: Oversee the accurate recording of sales invoices and manage customer accounts.

Purchase Ledger: Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payment of accounts.

Month-End Assistance: Support the Finance Manager with month-end duties, ensuring all financial records are up to date and accurate.

This role offers variety and the chance to work closely with the Finance Manager to further develop your skills in finance, with the added benefit of a flexible working schedule.

 

What We’re Looking For:

Strong experience in finance, with a focus on transactional duties (Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger).

Excellent organisational skills and an ability to manage multiple tasks.

Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.

 

This role offers a competitive pro-rata salary of £32,000 (FTE) and is ideal for someone looking to further their career in finance while maintaining a flexible work-life balance.
