FP&A Analyst

Job description

Wakefield based marketing business are looking to expand their accounts function with an FP&A Analyst opportunity. You will support senior Finance by producing financial reports, providing commentary to aid the commercial team. As a key member of finance, you will be responsible for communicating financial information to department heads on a regular basis. The role offers great exposure and the chance to work within a growing market for a business that can offer fantastic progression opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has previous experience in commercial finance and would like progress within a fantastic business.

You will be working collectively with senior finance and the wider team to achieve the following responsibilities:

  • Proactively identifying and highlighting opportunities to improve business performance.

  • Work closely with senior management on a global basis with focus on a specific portfolio of clients, ensuring a strong understanding of the business and its commercial drivers.

  • Assist in financial planning, on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Business partner with senior stakeholders, indicating on business performance.

  • Providing regular reporting on financial performance and business KPIs.

  • Providing commercial modelling and assisting in business case building.

  • Supporting the effectiveness of the Finance function.

  • Providing ad-hoc analysis, guidance and support across any and all matters related to financial performance and processes.

  • Ad-hoc work.

Preferably you will have experience in commercial finance and either part-qualified or qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to have a real influence on the business.
