Financial Accountant

The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and should be ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified, with a solid background in finance. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to develop their skills and contribute to the Finance Team’s success. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial reports for divisional directors

  • Conduct detailed variance analysis on monthly financial statements

  • Prepare and obtain approval for balance sheet reconciliations

  • Work closely with FP&A, in-country finance, operations, and HR teams to ensure accurate transaction reporting

  • Manage year-end statutory and tax compliance

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors

  • Assist with various ad-hoc tasks as required

Required Experience:

  • Highly motivated to learn, with the ability to perform well under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating effectively with both finance and non-finance teams

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and a strong understanding of accounting software

The ideal candidate will be part-qualified or fully qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA. Strong organizational skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a proactive mindset are essential. The candidate should be able to work independently while being willing to collaborate and support team members when necessary. A strong drive for success and ambition will be crucial to excelling in this role.
