Sharp Consultancy are delighted to announce a brand new and exclusive recruitment assignment for a skilled Finance Manager to join a specialist manufacturing SME in Sheffield. As Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in the organisation's financial operations as well as providing valuable strategic insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant to work with a high-performing SME that has experienced continuous year on year growth.

Duties will include:
* Performing month-end close activities including full Management Account production, variance and intercompany reconciliations
* Responsibility for monthly reporting including KPI reporting and analysis
* Leading monthly budgeting and forecasting processes
* Preparation of CAPEX investment appraisals
* Develop and implement financial processes and controls
* Liaise with operations to audit inventory and WIP
* Monitor the cashflow of working capital
* Ensuring the accuracy of standard costing systems
* Collaborating with the manufacturing and sales teams to provide knowledge and analysis on manufacturing costs, bill of materials and product pricing
* Implementation of weekly production reports (including variances) and labour capture
* Implement and ensure robust financial controls, covering areas such as stock integrity, annual stocktakes and product cost prices
* Support the existing development of another member of staff including day to day management and appraisals
* Implement and develop FP&A software incorporating forecasting and scenario planning
* Continual development of existing ERP system
* Leading continuous improvements of department as and when required
* Assisting in audit process - acting as a point of contact for external auditors

Person Specification:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified
