Key responsibilities as Finance Manager will include;

  • Report into an experienced Finance Director and Financial Controller.

  • Lead, develop, and manage a small finance team.

  • Oversee month-end and year-end account production, including related analysis.

  • Ensure accounting controls are maintained.

  • Implement financial controls to ensure effective management and compliance.

  • Review and improve processes to enhance efficiency.

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for team members.

  • Partnering with internal stakeholders.

  • Working closely with external auditors.

Ideally you will be able to demonstrate the below qualifications/experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).

  • Experience in financial accounting within the financial services sector.

  • Experience operating in a similar Finance Manager role would be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of HMRC & FCA rules and regulations.

  • Proven managerial or supervisory experience.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Experience training, motivating, and evaluating team members.

  • Strong delegator with the ability to inspire by example.

  • Commitment to integrity and maintaining a positive team culture.
