The Finance Business Partner, reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, will manage the financial aspects of a portfolio of operations. Working closely with the Divisional Directors and their teams, the FBP will provide financial insights to drive growth and business performance, while ensuring adherence to governance processes and frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational management and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including transactional finance and Group teams, to fully understand the business and its key commercial drivers.

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on financial performance and business KPIs.

  • Actively identify and highlight opportunities for improving business performance.

  • Provide commercial modelling, assist in the development of business cases, and oversee the planning and forecasting processes, offering insights and support to management.

  • Help enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Finance function.

  • Lead and execute projects and process improvements to optimize function performance.

  • Contribute to the continuous development of the reporting suite, supporting business users and finding ways to improve clarity and understanding.

  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and guidance on financial performance and processes as needed.

  • Experience

  • Holds a degree and is nearing the completion of a professional qualification (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)

  • Experience in management accounting, financial analysis, or a commercial role

  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with financial systems such as ERP and reporting platforms
