This role is a part of a stable and talented finance team, including a long-term serving Financial Director and Finance Manager, an Assistant Accountant and an AP Specialist.

As a Credit Controller, you will be accountable for the accounts receivable ledger, managing key accounts, including house-hold name customers. Your responsibilities will span the full procedure, from setting up new customers and arranging credit limits, to sales invoicing, resolutions and reporting. While the role’s focus is accounts receivable, you will also be able to assist with key supplier account reconciliations and general ad-hoc duties.

This includes some of the following duties:

  • Raise sales invoices and credits.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and service contract details.

  • Perform credit checks and agree payment terms with customers.

  • Monitor payments and ensure timely collections within credit limits.

  • Resolve invoicing queries and liaise with internal/external stakeholders.

  • Chase overdue payments and generate debtor reports.

  • Issue weekly/monthly reports and statements to customers.

  • Handle debtor escalation and reconcile supplier accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies.

 

To be successful in your application as a Credit Controller, you will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Attentive & strong organisational skills.

  • Proficient in Excel.

  • Strong written English & communicative skills.

  • Previous Credit Controller experience .

 

The successful candidate will receive the following benefits:

  • £26-£30k salary + bonuses, earn up to 1 month’s salary perm annum.

  • Flexible hours.

  • 24 days annual leave + your birthday off + bank holiday allowance.
