Credit Controller

Job description

A long-standing financial firm in Leeds are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to help with business demands and workload.

Reporting directly to the Credit Manager you will have responsibility for:

*Ensuring that debts are paid to terms.
*Meeting cash and debtor day targets set by the company.
*Chasing overdue invoices via telephone and email within agreed timescales.
*Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity.
*Identifying changes in payment patterns and proposing action to avert indebtedness.
*Providing accurate advise on queries.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is immediately available and looking to pursue a career in Credit Control or who already has prior experience of being a successful credit controller.


Ideally you will be able to demonstrate:

*Having proven experience working within a transactional finance role.
*Self-motivated with a can-do attitude towards work and problem solving.
