Assistant Management Accountant

Role Overview

We're looking for someone who is be capable of providing essential day-to-day support. In this role, you'll assist in analysing business performance across different parts of the organization and play an important role in preparing management accounts. You’ll also help ensure the Management Accountant has accurate and timely financial reports to work with.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Department with daily tasks to help keep operations running smoothly

  • Monitor financial performance across global subsidiaries and contribute to group board reporting

  • Assist with system improvements as we adopt new technologies

  • Help manage and maintain the fixed asset register

  • Record accounting journals and assist with the month-end close process, including Profit & Loss preparation

  • Support year-end audits and help prepare statutory financial statements

  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and provide financial analysis

  • Assist with the preparation and submission of VAT returns

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant qualifications such as AAT, or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with people across the business

  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines consistently

Nice to Have

Experience with month-end processes is a plus. Ideally, you’ll be part-qualified or actively working toward ACCA, CIMA, or ACA. This is a great opportunity to grow your career in finance and take on more responsibility as you develop your skills.
