Assistant Management Accountant

​Sharp Consultancy are thrilled to represent a dynamic and thrilling opportunity to work for a Rotherham-based company who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant.

Your duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring the accurate and punctual delivery of management accounts and month-end reporting.

  • Periodically support and lead Business Review Meetings alongside the Senior Leadership Team.

  • Punctual completion of cash, bank and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Managing the businesses’ fixed asset register to ensure capital expenditures comply with accounting policies and budgets.

  • Ensuring processes and controls are upheld and properly documented, while actively recommending improvements where necessary.

  • Directly and indirectly sustaining the businesses’ annual budget and quarterly revisions.

  • Maintaining company wellness, stimulating collective and personal productivity and development.

  • Upholding collective objectives through the maintenance of relationships with stakeholders across the business.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

  • Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.

  • Analytical, organised and proficient in identifying insufficiencies & implementing changes in business processes.

  • Strong work ethic & ability to prioritise task.

  • Collaborative attitude to work alongside finance team of 10.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV & Power BI (not essential).

  • Proficient in B2C (not essential).
