Accounts Assistant

Job description

​A specialised manufacturing company located in the industrial area of Wakefield is seeking a skilled Accounts Assistant to cover a maternity leave period.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling a high volume of purchase invoices.

  • Issuing sales invoices using the Manufacturing and Sage systems.

  • Resolving queries related to both purchase and sales ledgers.

  • Assisting the Finance Manager with the preparation and upkeep of financial reports during month-end.

  • Preparing monthly payroll and submitting documents to the Payroll Bureau.

  • Managing accruals for stock, other expenses, and prepayments.
